Things are kinda chaotic around the house lately with all the packing and last minute things that need to be taken care of before we move. It doesn’t help that I am completely lazy these last weeks of pregnancy. All I want to do is sit down or take a nap. So much, that Jake has been in charge of dinner for the last week or two. I’m just so pooped.
With all that said, I did not have a Pregnancy Journal or Modest Monday post this week. I should have a video post up sometime this week that I did right before Christmas of myself giving our 5 year old daughter a haircut using a creaclip. It was something a reader showed me after I did the post on the ways we save money living on a small budget. I had mention that haircuts are one of the ways but I was torn on whether to cut Cipher’s hair myself or take her into a salon. Well, I did it myself and I am glad we went that route
So for now, I will leave you with this blog post to let you all know that we are alive and well and no baby yet. But I am about 37 weeks so he should be here soon. In fact, according the perinatology ultrasounds, 16 days to be exact!
And so you can join in on the fun with us, here are some pictures of our new home waiting for us in Washington, along Discovery Bay…….right where Jake wanted to be when we visited last year!

Welcome to Munah's Cupcake. An inspiration of sweet faith. On November 11th our daughter Emunah Cupcake(Sweet Faith) passed away due to a condition called Potters Syndrome. Her story can be read

What a lovely space! Wonderful light. I pray your family will be blessed and happy there.
And I can’t wait to see the new little one, too!
You look amazing! And the house looks so inviting! Congrats on all accounts.
What a beautiful house! p.s. I meant to tell you earlier how quickly the maternity clothes came (I couldn’t believe how fast) and how happy I am with them. Thanks again!
Your new house looks awesome! I’m very excited for you about the move and coming baby
. Praying for a safe/short delivery too. Sleep all you can now, won’t get to do that much for several months, lol.
The house looks so wonderfully inviting! Enjoy and be blessed!
Many prayers and best wishes on a safe delivery and your subsequent relocation. Your new house looks charming and the wood floors are amazing! It takes a lot of gumption (as we say around my parts) to pick and move to a new place; especially with a brand new little one! Can’t wait to see the pictures of your new place. You did such amazing things with your current house. God bless!
Aw, the belly is adorable!
Praying you have a safe and memorable (good memories) labor and delivery. The new place looks simply lovely! What a pretty area. Hugs to you and baby boy!
Beautiful home! Just found your blog through Pinterest while searching “modest skirts” just read Emunah’s story and had to call my husband and share it with him through tears. Can’t wait to read more of your posts.
Nichole
That is sooooo awesome Nichole, thank you for sharing her story
I didn’t know I was on Pinterest…cool!
Jacie – I don’t know how you are doing it – moving at the end of pregnancy!!
The house looks awesome! I bet you are so ready to just get in there and get settled!
Can’t wait to see the video! I cut all the boys’ hair, but I’m not brave enough to do the girls. I had thought of posting a video on how to cut boy’s hair. You’ve given me some inspiration!
Thank you Sarah, we are excited to move…we enjoy change! The moving and packing helps keep my mind off when the baby will come. And I think its a good idea for you to share a video on the boys hair. Its helpful for other moms.
Oh I am sooooooooo glad the creaclip worked ! I am going to be ordering my own REAL soon. And you are moving to my home state where I grew up. I grew up in Kirkland, Wa. Looking at the pics makes me a bit homesick. You will love, love, love it there. Wow, you are so close to the end. Praying prayers of a wonderful and safe labor. Blessings in Him<
