Before I knew Jesus

Before I knew Jesus I was self centered and selfish. Now I know the world isn’t about me.

Before I knew Jesus I didn’t know how to put others before myself. Now I know it’s others before yourself.

Before I knew Jesus I didn’t understand how people could love. But then I learned of Jesus and what he’s done for me.

Before I knew Jesus I couldn’t imagine how I would end up wanting a house full of kids living on land in a small town.

Before I knew Jesus I’d feel sorry for the kids who were homeschooled. Now, my kids Are homeschooled so they can learn of creation not evolution and learn how Jesus wants them to live, not society.

Before I knew Jesus I’d plan my way of revenge, but now I give forgiveness.

Before I knew Jesus all I wanted to do was have fun. Now all I want to do is praise Jesus and teach my kids how to glorify him in all they do.

Before I knew Jesus I loved my husband, but now I really really reallllllllllly love him!

Before I knew Jesus I use to get angry and say things like “I didn’t ask to be born”. Now I thank the the lord for the life he has given me because now I know the purpose of life!

Now I know Jesus. And I promise to live my life for him.
